Mariah Carey won the Lifetime Achievement Award and flew in from London after her X Factor appearance. The show organisers awarded her with a Special Achievement honor and in order to get Mariah to pick up said award at the ceremony in Monte Carlo, Monaco, they shelled out large amounts of cash.
