LIVERPOOL actress Jennifer Ellison went to Westminster in a bid to save Merseyside pubs.
The 25-year-old celebrity joined the launch of a new camapign to force the government to axe beer taxes uprated in Chancellor Alistair Darling's mini-budget.
She said: "Pubs are at the heart of our communities. I urge everyone to get right behind this campaign."
She mixed with politicians, publicans and beer industry chiefs at the Westminster Arms close to the House of Commons. (read more)
